Jakki Bosco is Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist with specialized training in Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Certified Infant Massage Teacher residing in Tampa, FL.
She has a bachelors degree in business which has helped her to successfully run her private therapy practice. She has opened two private practices which accept health insurance for her clients.
Her experience has lead her to work with all walks of life and is honored to be a part of it all.
Pediatric massage has been a big part of her professional practice focusing not only on typically developing children, but also those who have special healthcare needs.
As a provider for the Sylvia Thomas Center, a nonprofit organization that offers services to help keep adopted and foster kids in permanent homes, Jakki is teaching parents techniques they may use in their home environments to encourage the parent-child bonding which is crucial in the family environment.
Children that have been recently adopted have tremendous challenges to endure such as ADHD, sensory integration issues, attachment disorders, digestive issues, social challenges, sleep disorders and many more.
Jakki has made great strides with this program, and has taught numerous newly united families. She has also had the opportunity to work in conjunction with behavioral analysts to better understand each child's needs.
On a personal note, Jakki enjoys her active lifestyle and spending time with her family and friends. She also practices yoga, meditation, enjoys running, reading, drawing and dancing to live music.
Why do you feel you would be an asset to the Liddle Kidz Foundation volunteer team?
Combining my professional experience, and background working with children will be a big asset to my work with the group. I enjoy working with a team and sharing in each others expertise to further make a strong impact.
Why would you like to participate in this outreach event?
I am excited to use my professional skills to give back to the community, while being around like minded individuals. The opportunity to experience a new culture, working with and learning from Tina Allen, and the chance to give to others makes this an awesome opportunity to be selected to participate in.
There are millions of infants and children worldwide who are struggling to live to their fullest potential. Would you like an opportunity to bring nurturing touch and pediatric massage to orphaned and displaced children around the globe?
Do you wish to share your skills with children who are affected by Cerebral Palsy, AIDS/HIV, landmines, Agent Orange, developmental disabilities, genetic birth defects, mental and emotional trauma?
Just ask yourself . . . can one person make a difference?
Take this moment to make a difference in the life of a child.
Apply now to be part of our next international volunteer team . . .you too, can be a Liddle Kidz Ambassador!
